Drop No.1 — 'BACK TO BASICS'

Concepts d’Odeur returns with 'Drop No.1', its first collection in five years, marking a bold new chapter for the Swedish label. Moving beyond seasonal collections, 'Drop No.1' introduces a timeless, non-seasonal approach that builds on the brand’s signature unisex silhouettes while embracing sustainability, meticulous craftsmanship, and enduring design.

The collection focuses on exaggerated, oversized shapes crafted from organic cottons and recycled polyester tech materials. A muted palette of black and charcoal reinforces the label’s minimalist aesthetic, allowing the refined tailoring and thoughtful construction to take center stage. Every piece reflects an acute attention to detail, from precisely placed seams to subtle textures, creating garments that feel as elevated as they are wearable.

Drop No.1 is a reintroduction to the essence of Concepts d’Odeur,” says Petter Hollström, founder and designer. “This is about creating pieces that are not only wearable today but remain relevant for years to come. Details are what define these garments—they’re designed to be explored and appreciated over time.”

Back to Basics is more than a theme; it’s a statement of intent. With an emphasis on durability, versatility, and a commitment to sustainable materials, Drop No.1 offers a collection designed to stand the test of time, with every detail thoughtfully considered.

Mozambique x Cd'O Drop No.1 — 'Montes Aurora'

This autumn, Concepts d’Odeur and Mozambique unveil their first collaborative collection, Montes Aurora, a fusion of Japanese craftsmanship and Swedish minimalism. This partnership marries Mozambique’s reputation for functional, durable outdoor equipment with Concepts d’Odeur’s clean and contemporary designs, setting the stage for a series of creative collaborations.

Montes Aurora draws inspiration from the serene landscapes of Japan and Sweden. The collection celebrates the grandeur of Japan’s mountains alongside the vibrant, ethereal hues of Sweden’s northern Aurora Borealis. These natural wonders are reflected in the collection’s careful balance of simplicity, utility, and mindfulness.

Crafted with precision, the pieces embody the essence of both brands: thoughtful, enduring design with a focus on functionality and refined aesthetics. The result is a collection where every detail serves a purpose, blending practicality with artistic expression.

This collaboration marks the beginning of an exciting journey, with Montes Aurora setting a high standard for what’s to come. Launching in autumn 2024, the collection invites wearers to explore the harmony between tradition, innovation, and nature’s beauty.

S/S —20 'CUBISM'

Stockholm-based fashion brand Concepts d’Odeur unveils Cubism, its Spring/Summer ’20 collection. This season, the label explores the artistic legacy of Cubism, transforming its fragmented and multifaceted aesthetic into a dynamic expression of modern fashion.

The collection introduces a bright, uplifting color palette. Off-white and black tones are contrasted by a soft sakura pink, with bold accents of neon pink appearing in printed details. Playful silhouettes take center stage, blending comfort and innovation through layered designs. Sheer fabrics are placed over conventional materials, creating depth and new visual dimensions.

Signature fabrics include wool with jersey textures and high-quality cotton for t-shirts and wardrobe basics. These materials are chosen to elevate the unisex pieces, ensuring they are as wearable as they are creative.

“The Cubist movement inspired us to challenge traditional forms and create garments that embody movement and perspective,” says Petter Hollström, founder and designer.

Cubism reaffirms Concepts d’Odeur’s commitment to pushing boundaries in design, offering a collection that celebrates both creativity and practicality.

A/W —19 ’CARPE DIEM’

The Autumn/Winter ’19 collection from Concepts d’Odeur builds on the brand’s legacy with a refined focus on its origins.

”We wanted to go back to our roots, find the simplicity of the concept of Odeur. When we started over ten years ago, the idea was to create a non-visual label with the use of scent. Over the years this has been central to the brand, but we felt a need to be more direct in our approach to the label and collections. We feel that this is the right direction” says Petter Hollström, founder and designer of the label together with co-designer Gorjan Lauseger.

The collection features unisex pieces like t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, and trousers, crafted from fine jerseys, tech materials, and sleek summer wools. Neutral tones of grey, white, and black highlight subtle details, textures, and closures, complemented by playful neon accents and glossy finishes.

‘Carpe Diem’ embodies progress, blending tactile designs with expressive silhouettes, and continues to explore the intersection of visual and non-visual aesthetics.
